My painting portfolio begins in 2002, because it is at this time that an image development starts to pick up. In this manner a more substantial rhythm emerges in the work at my D.U.M.B.O., Brooklyn workspace.  The two oil paintings (left and center-left; or on mobile phones, the top two) mark the beginning of working methods that I will develop in greater depth in subsequent years. The two watercolors (center-right and right; or on mobile phones, the bottom two) display a new and important clarity of image and composition in that medium. All the above works are early examples of certain qualities I will later develop in more ambitious ways.
